TERMS OF USE & DISCLAIMER 

Rebate/Move Credit Qualification Guidelines

 

  • TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING must have assisted you in finding the apartment.

 

  • TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING must be listed as the sole referral source on any Guest Card offered & on EVERY applicant's Rental Application. If any other referral source is mentioned to any representative of the property either verbally or in writing, this rebate/move credit offer could be void. TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING must be recognized by the property as your ONLY referral source.

  • You must meet any pre-registration requirements set forth by the apartment community. You must notify your locator prior to visiting communities, so that in the event a community requires client pre-registration, your locator is capable of fulfilling this requirement. 

​

  • Rebate checks and move credits are issued at 10% of the monthly rent rate on qualifying leases. 

​

  • Your rental rate will be based on the net effective rent after specials.

​

  • In the event a participating community's locator service fee falls below our minimum requirement of 50% of one month's rent, Texas Apartment Locating reserves the right to offer a reduced rebate or a reduced move credit offer.

  • ​​NON PAYMENT BY COMMUNITY: If for any reason a property does not agree to pay TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING a locator service fee, this will constitute a retraction of our rebate/move credit offer altogether.

 

  • The Claim Rebate Form must be submitted after you have been approved for a lease and no later than 14 days after your move-in date. 

 

  • You must move into the apartment unit listed on your lease. If you fail to move in, this will constitute a retraction of our rebate/move credit offer altogether.

 

  • Only one apartment rebate or move credit is offered per lease, and the rebate must be issued in the name of a leaseholder. If multiple claim rebate forms are received for the same unit, only the first claim rebate form with a leaseholder name will be recognized.

  • You must not have lived in this same apartment community before or be renewing a lease.

  • Payment of the apartment rebate to you may be subject to the consent of the owner and/or the management company of the participating community.

 

  • To qualify for a rebate or move credit, the apartment community you lease at must complete and sign a lease verification agreement form approving our invoice. This must occur before we can issue a rebate check or move credit. â€‹

  • You must meet the minimum lease term of the property to be eligible for a cash rebate or move credit. Communities have set a minimum lease term that they require before they will pay a locator service fee. This varies by community some may have a 6-month minimum while others may require 7, 9, or 12+ months. ​

​

  • Maximum rebate or move credit is $300.

 

  • Rebate checks are processed and mailed USPS First Class Mail the first Monday after confirmed move in - excluding holiday. (A delay may occur if we are still waiting for the apartment to return a lease verification form) We will ensure rebate checks are mailed to the address you provide. In the event a rebate check is lost or stolen you may request a replacement check by contacting us. Replacement rebate checks are subject to a $30 stop payment fee.

 

  • If we are unable to get a completed and signed lease verification agreement back from the apartment community then we must wait to collect from the community before we can give you a rebate. â€‹

 

Move Credit Policy

  • To qualify for a move credit, the apartment community you lease at must complete and sign a lease verification form approving our invoice a minimum of 5 days before your scheduled move date. 

​

  • If you choose a move credit and we are unable to get a completed and signed lease verification back from the apartment community 5 days before your move-in date the move credit will be replaced by a rebate.

​

  • If you qualify for a move credit, TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING will pay a licensed moving company of your choice your entire move credit amount. The moving company must be properly licensed in the state of Texas to operate as a Household Goods Carrier which requires a TXDMV number.

​

  • Under no circumstance will Texas Apartment Locating pay your move credit to an unlicensed person or unlicensed moving company.

 

  • If you wish to use a moving company that is not properly licensed you will need to pay the moving company yourself. Please select the rebate option instead of a move credit.

 

  •  If you select a move credit, you are responsible for selecting a licensed moving company and scheduling your move.

 

  • In no event will TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING be liable to you or to any third party from a move credit paid by TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING to the licensed moving company that you chose.

 

  • The licensed moving company you choose must allow TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING to pay them directly with a company credit card via telephone 24-48 hours before your move.

 

  • You accept full financial responsibility for any overages that your move credit amount does not cover. Under no circumstance will TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING be liable to the moving company for any additional fees beyond your pre-paid move credit.

 

  • In the event, your move credit exceeds your moving costs any refund of the difference is at the sole discretion of the moving company. If your moving quote is significantly less than your move credit amount then we recommend you choose a rebate option.

 

  • TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING  will not be involved in any disputes that may arise with the moving company you selected. We will not refund you any amount we paid directly to the moving company on your behalf UNLESS the moving company has refunded us the amount we paid them.

Free Moving Boxes Policy​

​

  • TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING must have assisted you in finding the apartment.

​

  • TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING must be recognized by the property as your ONLY referral source. 

 

  • You are eligible for moving boxes whether you choose a cash rebate or move credit.

​

  • ONLY one 20 pack of moving boxes per apartment lease. (8 small, 8 medium, 4 large)

​

  • Once you are approved for a lease let your locator know the address of your nearest Home Depot.

​

  • We simply pay for your boxes and you pick them up at your local Home Depot! 

​

  • You have 7 days from the day we place your order to pick up your boxes.

 

  • We have the right to substitute box sizes in the the event certain size boxes are out of stock.

 

  • In the event multiple boxes are not in stock - we can either place your order at another Home Depot or give you the cash equivalent in the form of a $25 Home Depot eGift Card.​

 

Disclaimer

 

TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING reserves all rights to modify all rebates, move credits, promotions, gifts, policies, and disclaimers without notice. However, rebates, move credits, and gift promotions will be processed and honored based on the Terms, Conditions & Disclaimers that were in effect on the date the Claim Rebate Form was submitted. The rebate/move credit offer is and will ALWAYS be subject to us being paid a locator referral fee.

Privacy Statement

 

TEXAS APARTMENT LOCATING does not collect social security numbers or other government identification numbers. We do not give or sell our client's information to outside sources or third party companies. All names, phone numbers, email addresses, and apartment addresses are completely confidential.
